The Subaru – Russ Swift stunt show ends on a high note

allcarschannel Subaru distributors Motor Image held the final leg of the Russell Swift stunt performance at the Capital City of the Southern State of Johor most recently. Since the Subaru – Russ Swift performance kicked off, more than 10,000 thousands from the northern and central regions had witnessed Swift in action.

For those in the dark, Swift is a Guinness World Record holder for parallel parking and a two-time British Autotest Champion, as well as his homeland’s Autotest Team Captain from 1982 through 83. In 2004, he set the record for making 10 complete spins with a car (also known as Doughnuts) in just 16.07 seconds – a mere 1.6 seconds for each complete spin.

Swift brings out his best at the final leg in Johor

At the final leg, Swift brought out his better precision driving for the two-day Motor Image organized stunt show. Johoreans and nearby communities came out in droves to witness Swift’s renowned gravity-defying car stunts in nominated Subaru vehicles. Swift didn’t disappoint as he entertained the crowd at the JB mall with an assortment of stunt manoeuvres such as Reverse Spins/Parallel Parking – parallel parking in the shortest amount of time taken, Doughnuts – spinning a car around in one spot for ten complete revolutions, Two-Wheeling – balancing a car on its driver’s side wheels and the Dance Routine – choreographed routine made of exciting spins.

Swift commented, “I am very pleased to be here on this tour, sharing my passion for precision driving with Malaysians for the first time. It has been a joy driving the Subaru cars, fitted with boxer engines which gives better stability hence the handling precision with the Subaru cars has made my driving experience smoother and much more enjoyable.”

“The enthusiasm shown by the fans has been a great delight, and I hope to share precision driving with more Malaysians next year,” he added.

For Motor Image, the few legs of the Swift stunt shows have been fairly well received and gave an encouraging overall awareness of the Subaru marque, its vehicles and core technologies.
