The 20 lucky winners, all bought a Toyota variant during the two-month contest period. The 20 individuals now get the chance to see the latest concept cars from Toyota first-hand at the Tokyo show and experience the many attractions at the Japanese Capital City during the 5-day/4-night tenure.
Chan Yuet Leng, who purchased a Vios during the contest period, shared her elated story of being one of the Grand Prize winners. Chan from Petaling Jaya, who’d never won a major prize in any contest, remarked, “I had never won any contest in the past. However, after checking Toyota’s website and speaking to my sales advisor, I realized that it is true.”
Aside from the Grand Prize winners, two hundred individuals of the Toyota Buy & Win contest were awarded a consolation prize of an iPhone Plus.
Toyota bags fourth Gold Award at Putra Brand Awards
Toyota emerged as the biggest winner at the Putra Brand Awards last week, becoming the sole the automotive brand to win Gold, and the first automotive brand to be recognized as a Putra Brand Icon. The latest Putra Gold Award represented the sixth year that Toyota had bagged either Gold (2012 – 2015) or Silver (2010 and 2011) Awards.
The Putra Brand Awards was organized by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As). It is the is the only brand awards in the country endorsed by MATRADE and supported by the Branding Association of Malaysia (BAM), the Malaysian Advertisers Association (MAA) and Media Specialists Association (MSA).
About 6,000 votes from survey participants were polled using a robust consumer research methodology to determine the country’s favorite brands in multiple categories.
