2016 Toyota Sienta front quarter
UMW Toyota Motor today announced the prices for the soon-to-be-unveiled new Toyota MPV line-ups which comprise of the Sienta, Alphard and Vellfire. Bookings are already available at Toyota dealerships nationwide.

Previously previewed at the My Auto Fest 2016, the new Toyota Sienta Compact MPV is a 7-seater Multi-purpose vehicle, featuring a typical long wheelbase, one-pull second row seat for easy access to the rear seats and wide third-row seats. In looks, the new Sienta takes up the new-generation Yaris’ exterior motifs, with a contemporary V-shaped LED headlights, single-framed front grille and unique rear combination lights. The front of the Sienta is emphasized by bumper garnish which combines the headlights and fog light grilles, resembling a single brush-stroke. Corners of the bumpers are persistent to denote a wide and low stance. From the rear, there are more prominent corners to further emphasize the Sienta’s stability. The bumper garnish fuses the combination lights with the bumper protectors, creating a unique, functional look.

A compact interior of the Sienta MPV features comfortable three-row seating and a maximized cabin space with a flat, low floor. This, in addition to the wide 3.3-meter-high sliding door that opens all the way to the third row, makes getting in and out effortless. Seats have been placed in a unique stadium arrangement, elevated gradually toward the rear. Based on global specifications, three different interior colors schemes are available, as well as Orange accents with satin-plated and piano black ornaments. Other major interior highlights include a simplified instrument panel, switches located on the lower half of center console, 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display and more. Toyota Alphard and Vellfire

Both Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are fully-imported models from Japan. The Alphard comes in two variants Alphard 3.5 Executive Lounge and Alphard 3.5, while the Vellfire is essentially a toned-down version of Toyota’s renowned large MPV.

The Alphard is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine. while the Vellfire has a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine; both equipped with Toyota’s Dual VVT-i system for optimum performance and fuel efficiency and low emissions. Active and Passive safety systems that are provided as standard include 7 SRS airbags, ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA), with Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control.

The Alphard an Vellfire have a generous range of premium equipment, and the Alphard 3.5 Executive Lounge includes VIP Power Seats with internal cooling for extra comfort. This variant also comes with a premium sound system equipped with 17 speakers by JBL.

According to UMW Toyota Motor, the new Toyota Sienta is offered in two variants Sienta 1.5G and 1.5V, both with Automatic transmission. The new Sienta is positioned competitively at RM 92,900 and 99,900. The Toyota Alphard starts at RM 419,900 and 519,900 (Executive Lounge), while the Vellfire goes for RM355,000. All models include a full 5 years warranty and unlimited mileage.
