The Lexus NX variant is a brand new mid-size Crossover that proposes an SUV with an edgy, emotional design. Powered by the Lexus Hybrid Drive, the Lexus NX 300h is expected to join the ranks of Lexus Malaysia’s existing and highly esteemed range of hybrid variants including the CT, ES, IS, GS, LS and RX.

The NX Crossover features world firsts for the Lexus marque. Besides the hybrid variant, the 2.0L Turbo variant features an industry-leading turbocharged gasoline engine which is developed in-house by Lexus with a combination of top-level fuel economy and exhilarating performance.
The other star attraction for UMW Toyota Motor is the futuristic FT-Bh concept, which blends the ecomotion (eco + emotion) factor into the package. In addition to environmental friendliness with adequate performance, the “ecomotion” FT-Bh aims to provide an enjoyable driving experience through responsive and nimble driving dynamics. UMW Toyota Motor has announced the price list for the NX Crossover, with starts from RM 308,082 for the base unit, NX200, up till RM 401,334 for the top flight NX300 Hybrid. All prices are for the Peninsular and include insurance.
On the consumer front, UMW Toyota Motor has introduced a new addition to the Corolla Altis line-up, in the form of the Altis 1.8G. The Corolla Altis 1.8G effectively replaces the previously available 2.0G to make it four versions in the line-up, which also comprises of the 1.8E, 2.0V and 2.0V with additional safety features. Priced between RM 115,900 up till 139,915.30, the Altis variant remains a major contributor to UMW Toyota Motor’s leading position in the Passenger car segment amongst the non-national makes.
