The limited Apple-edition Vespa LX 150 scooter’s livery stems from a bitten-apple concept which first appeared in an Italian advertising campaign in 1969. Back then, the ad’s central theme “Chi Vespa mangia le mele”, or “If you ride a Vespa, you take a bite out of the apple” in English depicted the easy and care-free ride on a Vespa.
In addition, the apple version of the Vespa matches some of the most beloved classic vespas through the decades. The current Vespa Apple version with its bitten-apple graphics symbolizes playful-ness, vibrancy and a sort of homage to the Vespas of the world. Besides, related illustrations and two-tone colored saddle make you want to take a bite, literally.

According to Co-Chief of Naza Group of Companies SM Faisal, “The Vespa LX 150 Apple Edition combines youthful charm with the timeless quality of classic Vespas and is ideal for everyday urban commutes between home and the workplace or even simply for casual, leisurely rides. The 150cc engine delivers smoother power progression in the relentless stop-start conditions of a congested urban city.”

Naza Premira also reported an encouraging sales since its August 2011 inauguration, with more than 1000 units sold in 2012. The company plans to increase sales to 2000 units this year, plus establish another 5 Vespa outlets in these states: Penang, Johor, Kelantan, Terengganu and Sarawak.

The Vespa LX 150 Apple Edition is priced at RM11,388.00 and there are only 168 units available in the country. For the CNY, the Vespa LX150 retails at an attractive promotional price of RM8,888.00, including a special ‘Red Packet’. This limited time promo. starts now and ends 28 February.
