In conjunction with the upcoming Festive season (Raya) festivities, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) is running a special festive campaign offering a Volkswagen from as low as RM25 a day. During this campaign period, customers can enjoy cash rebates and savings on selected models such as the Polo, Vento, Jetta, Golf, Passat Comfortline and Trendline as well as the Tiguan Comfortline.
The Polo 1.6 HB is made for city driving adventures, although small in stature the sub compact is certainly big on fun. Plus, it is the perfect ride without having to compromise on comfort, safety and quality. In looks, the Polo 1.6 HB takes up familiar headlight clusters that are decked in chrome. The Polo is currently offered with a rebate of up to RM7,000 or RM25 per day.
The Polo’s direct sibling, the Vento comes with a savings of RM 11,000; equivalent to RM 25 per day, based on a nine-year maximum loan. The Vento has been a firm favorite model in Volkswagen Malaysia’s current range. Locally-assembled with German technology, the Vento takes up a stylish outlook for a sub compact, aided by a captivating contour lines at the side and a streamlined rear with unique combination lights.
Interior-wise, the Volkswagen Vento is rather similar to the Polo Sedan but different in more features than one. Highlights include a three-spoke steering with switches, chrome accent on gearknob, air vents surrounds and center of dashboard, an updated audio unit, ample soft touch materials on the dashboard and other relevant panels, and lastly the seats are of high-quality fabric type. The model comes in three variants: Highline, Comfortline and Trendline.
VW models with RM35 per day and RM 45 per day offers are the Jetta and popular Golf, with rebates up to RM 10,000 and RM21,000 respectively. The Jetta, introduced in late September 2016, is also valid with three variants, Highline, Comfortline and Trendline. The overall impression of the Jetta is accentuated by a new front fascia with bumper grille, front bi-Xenons with LED DRLs and automatic activation, headlight washer system, exterior mirror with environment lighting, 17-inch “Queensland” alloy wheels, chrome grilles, front and rear fog lights, and LED rearlights.
The Passat, unveiled in November 2016, in Comfortline and Trendline variants is activated with rebates of up to RM 15,000, which works out to RM 51 per day. Both Passat Comfortline and Trendline variants take up a 1.8-liter turbo powerplant with 7-speed direct shift gearbox for a pleasurable drive. Impression-wise, the Passat features a dome-shaped bonnet for a menacing front look, along with headlights with adaptive LEDs and washer system, a low-slung bumper, a low-sloping silhouette, refined shoulder lines, 18-inch “Dartford” wheels, LED rearlights, a concave bumper and a diffuser-typed skid plate with reflectors.
Finally, the recently introduced VW Tiguan is offered with savings up to RM5,000, RM51 per day. VW’s compact SUV has a recognizable front-end with the signature front grille that is finished in chrome. The square-shaped headlights and upper, lower LED daytime running lights further give the Tiguan its appealing front-end look, thanks to a V-shaped character line.
Front foglights are positioned on the lower bumper to express a more sedan-like feature. Double five-spoke wheels complete the elegant exterior package of the new Tiguan. The rear comes with LED lights and slim proportion.
