BMW4 Series Convertible set for world and U.S. premiere
BMW brings forth the 4 Series Convertible and their electric line-ups, i3 and i8, for the LA Auto show. The world premiere of the BMW 4 Series Convertible marks the beginning of a new era of open-air driving pleasure. Unique aesthetics and the noticeable increase in size compared to the predecessor variant give the BMW 4 Series Convertible an expressive presence. The three-part, folding hardtop guarantees the highest degree of everyday suitability all year round. When closed, it offers enhanced acoustic comfort and opens in less than 20 seconds at the push of a button. At market launch, there will be a choice of a straight six-cylinder petrol engine, a four-cylinder petrol engine and a four-cylinder diesel power unit with an output ranging from 135 kW/184 hp to 225 kW/306 hp.
The Range Rover was all-new for 2013, debuting an aluminum unibody construction that reduced vehicle weight by 700lbs. for significantly improved strength, performance, agility and fuel efficiency. As the fourth generation of the Range Rover line, this model was developed from the ground up, to capture the innovative spirit and iconic design of the original model.
Nissan Nismo Juke RS for the typical Japanese Sports car enthusiasts
Nissan’s Nismo Juke RS is catered especially for the North American market. The Nismo Juke RS gives potential buyers a distinct choice among the affordable S, well-equipped SV and premium SL grades of the popular crossover. Two configurations – front-wheel drive with a 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive with sport-tuned Xtronic CVT – are available.
Compared to the standard Nissan Juke, the most obvious visual change is to the front fascia and grille, which have been modified to better control airflow to the engine. The new front end features a lower and more aggressive design, with thin-strip LED accent lights, and prominent red pinstripe on upper edge of the large lower grille that drops dramatically to curve around the smaller vents and continues all the way to the front wheel arches. Smoked combination headlights, sculpted side skirts and rear bumper with red pinstripe complete the Nismo Juke’s overall exterior appeal. The Nismo Juke is powered by an inline 4-cylinder 1.6-liter DOHC aluminium-alloy Direct Injection Gasoline turbocharged engine for a convincing 197 hp and 249 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque.
