2016 Honda Wave Dash FI line-up with Repsol Honda livery

Honda Wave Dash FI Repsol Compact motorcycle enthusiasts in the country should be satisfied with Boon Siew Honda’s latest offering, the new Wave Dash FI. The new Honda Wave Dash FI provides a little more output and better fuel economy, compared to the previous edition. It is a safer bike as well, thanks to plenty of updated elements and technology.

With the tagline of “Racing Absolute”, the Honda Wave Dash FI offers more striking and sportier outlook with a performance to go with it. The Racing Absolute tag meant that this ‘Kapcai’ comes in the special Repsol Honda trimmings, emulating the MotoGP machine of twice MotoGP Champion Marc Marquez.

The Honda Wave Dash FI was produced following plenty of customer feedbacks and comments to improve the overall package of Boon Siew’s most popular compact motorcycle variant. Besides the practicality of the bike, major upgrades were also taken into consideration to spruce up the new Wave Dash FI to attract the younger generation.

This newly-improved Wave Dash FI is equipped PGM-FI technology. Such technology is well known to perform at a better fuel efficiency without sacrificing its exemplary acceleration. This technology is using a programmed electronic control techniques in which the amount of fuel and air can be released perfectly and injected into the cylinder according to the engine load conditions. Therefore, the FI technology consumes less fuel, yet able to provide a better power output.

Boon Siew Honda has added a winker and a reflector at the rear of the bike as well as a position light at the front. These additional features have made the new variant safer to ride on especially at night and dark roads. This new variant also has a newly design chrome muffler cover that act as a heat insulator to enhance on the safety features.

The improved fuel tank capacity for Honda Wave Dash FI has been jacked up to 4.0 liters. This invariably translates to reduced frequency to refill petrol and greater convenience for the rider.

There are two variations of the Wave Dash FI, the Wave Dash Type S and Type R. Four sporty colors and liveries are valid for the line-up, including Vivacity Red, Vital Blue Metallic, Pearl Magellanic Black, and the Repsol Honda special trim or Luminous Orange, reserved for the Wave Dash Type R.

The Honda Wave Dash FI line-up is listed at these prices: Type S at RM5,299, Type R at RM5,549 and Type R Repsol Honda Edition at RM5,699.
