The new Renault Koleos is designed and engineered with global appeal to play a part in boosting the marque’s international growth, including China where Renault opened a plant in Wuhan earlier this year. Furthermore, the Koleos, the first Renault 4×4 crossover, illustrates the brand’s ability to express its qualities in new segments. Easy to handle in the city, reliable on roads and motorways, with real capacity to overcome obstacles, it is as comfortable as a sedan with the interior space of a compact MPV. Being a Crossover, the Koleos blends SUV design cues together with the refinement and features associated with large sedans.
The new Koleos boasts a imposing stance that sets it apart from its D-segment SUV rivals and provides a refined, comfortable interior that boasts record room for passengers. The new Renault crossover also delivers all-terrain ability while ensuring excellent ride and handling and stability.
Having previously been updated in 2013, the new Koleos should share plenty of its precedessor’s exterior and interior cues. The new Koleos takes up a new bumper, DRL (daytime running lights) and a more outstanding fascia at the front. The large Renault logo at its center (even larger with the new Koleos), provide the vehicle with an assertive yet elegant look. The door mirror housings are equipped with LED indicators. Like its previous edition, the new Renault Koleos’ SUV lines, high-up driving position and new, original two-tone wheels further express the model’s unique personality. The rear screen retains the same rake that provides Renault Koleos with its dynamic stance.
Interior-wise, the center console should come with satin finish trim, numerous chrome highlights and even wood inserts. Other items to look out for are leather upholsteries, panoramic sun roof and many more.
Further details of the new Renault Koleos will be made available during the debut at the Beijing Motor show.
