|For the 2016 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show), Audi is preparing to premiere the all-new A4 to headline its showcase at the first major global auto show of the year.
The all-new, 2017 Audi A4 is tagged with an innovative design, new trend technologies, class-leading output, and the whole nine yards. From the redeveloped engine to the available Audi virtual cockpit, technological innovations available on the 2017 Audi A4 provided an inspiration for the precise and striking design details of the four-ring marque’s best-selling sedan in the world. And what’s more, thanks to the use of Aluminium-hybrid, significant weight savings is achieved for the latest Audi A4.
At a glance, the ninth-generation A4 comes with a horizontal, contoured Singleframe grille, LED headlights, expanded wheel arches and a wrap-around shoulder line, which flows seamlessly from the hood to the rear. Moving to the inside, the cabin and amenities speak for itself with three-dimensional decos, revamped door panels, a recognizable signature dashboard, an acoustic windshield, ambient LED interior lighting, infotainment suite, and even an optional Bang & Olufsen 3D Sound System. In addition, head-, shoulder- and leg-room have all been jacked up, in terms of dimensions.
Featuring a completely redeveloped powertrain, the new A4’s 2.0 TFSI engine can generate 252 hp, paired to a newly developed S tronic dual clutch transmission. At the same time, the chassis of the new A4 has been completely redeveloped, allowing for a sportier driving experience and more comfortable ride for long distances.
Meantime, new front five-link suspension offers improved steering precision and handling aspects through optimized steering-rack placement, direct at wheel centers. Handling and comfort enhancements have also enhanced through the reduced unsprung weight of lightweight aluminum control-arm components and revised elasto-kinematic attributes.
