Nissan Almera Gets Turbo charged

With all the buzz about small engine with turbo, Nissan Malaysia isn’t about to get left behind as they introduced the new Almera Turbo. The new Turbo charged Almera is offered in three versions the VLT (highest grade), VLP and VL. The price range is set between RM RM 79,906 – 91,310.

As a bread and butter model for Nissan in this country, the latest generation Almera Turbo gets Nissan Intelligent Mobility and Safety Shield 360 that provides greater overall protection. In addition, it has Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW) and Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking (IFEB) systems. The Forward collision warning alerts driver with audible sound on the 7-inch display. When proximity to a vehicle is detected, the car’s Forward Emergency Braking system kicks in and automatically engage the brakes to help avoid a frontal collision or lessen the severity of an impact. Thereafter, the car remains at a standstill for 2 seconds until the brakes are disengaged.

Joining the two innovative mitigation systems above are the Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Around View Monitor (IAVM) with Intelligent Moving Object Detection (IMOD) system (in other words Park Assist).

The list of safety features for the Almera Turbo doesn’t end there. Standard features include Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Traction Control (TC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), ABS, EBD, six airbags and Isofix points.

For all the innovative and outstanding features, the Almera Turbo is retailed at a very decent price starting at RM 79,906. And better yet, it comes with 5-year unlimited warranty with fee 5 times alternating maintenance service (parts and labor included) within 5 years. Check it out at a Nissan showroom near you.
