In a latest press statement, Nissan Malaysia revealed the interior of the New Almera Turbo in its entirety. The new Almera has an entirely revamped interior with emphasis on features, comfort and everything else. Highlights in the cabin include a new instrument cluster, touch screen, a flat-bottom steering and ‘Zero Gravity’ or semi-bucket seats.
The front passengers stare at a dual-tone dashboard with double stitching and soft padded grey and ‘Gliding Wing’ instrument panels. Nissan’s Gliding Wing design is meant to offer a spatial symmetry that enhances togetherness.
Nissan has put up much for the new Almera on the inside including chrome fixtures and carbon fiber with silver painted and piano black patterns to express the basic principles of a premium and modern interior. Check out the new 7-inch instrument cluster with 9 customizable modes and the 8-inch touchscreen with only CarPlay connectivity.
The driver should appreciate the flat-bottom steering with switches, and it’s got a cruise control button too. A myriad of creature comforts come in the form of the Climate control a/c, intelligent key with auto lock, push-start and three USB ports.
Rear passengers should feel at ease with a 620mm legroom, retained from its predecessor. Meantime, the new Almera has the Zero Gravity seats and a boot space with lower and wider opening to carry a 482-liter capacity, more when the rear seats fold down.
With a further improvement on NVH (Noise, vibration and harshness), the new Almera is fitted with more soft materials, thicker glass and better insulation.
