Across the board, the 2021 HR-V has a new 7-inch display audio and 2 USB ports, fixed in the center console. The highest grade, the HR-V Sport Hybrid gets updates on the aesthetics such as chrome door handles, 3-spoke steering, LED headlights, LED guide rearlights and LED foglights, making the car look as premium as ever. The HR-V RS version now comes with 18-inch 2-tone wheels and an upbeat front grille along with reworked front and rear bumpers.

The HR-V is still driven by a 1.8L SOHC i-VTEC engine with CVT, except for the HR-V Sport Hybrid i-DCD which has a 1.5l and 7-speed dual clutch gearbox. The HR-V RS version has Variable Gear Ratio (VGR) steering system for a sportier drive.

Other updated equipment include multi-angle rearview camera, cruise control, paddle shift, 8-way driver power seat, leather seats and Honda LaneWatch. Safety features remain similar to the previous list.
