Scheduled for world debut on 5 May, Ferrari has previewed first shots of its limited-edition special series, based on the 812 Superfast. As a first impression, the Prancing Horse people gave the world a description of its newest pride and joy, which is said to evoke an expression of Ferrari’s concept of an extreme front-engined berlinetta and characteristics of the 812 Superfast.
The newest Ferrari has reworked aerodynamics, developed by the folks at Ferrari Styling Center, to maximize downforce. The hints are the new front air intakes, rear diffuser and exhaust. At rear, glass rear screen gives way to a single-piece aluminium structure, integrated with the roof. It works with the carbon-fiber blade that traverses the bonnet, giving the super car a wider look. At the same time, the new super car is infused with a more powerful, fastback look.
Moving to the interior, the super car’s has a redesigned dashboard, door panel interfaces and an H-gate theme. The car seems to offer a larger cabin compared to the 812 Sf.
The new Ferrari is fitted with a V12 engine, with output estimated at 830 cv (Ferrari terms) at 9,500 rpm. The engine has new valve timing mechanism, matched with a new exhaust system.
The new V12 Ferrari is instilled an independent steering, said to work on all four wheels. Overall weight of the super car is comparatively lesser than the 812 Sf.
