3rd-Generation Fabia signals Skoda’s future design language

SKODA has previewed the sportier and crisper design motives of the soon-to-be-introduced Third-Generation Fabia in a latest press statement. The 3rd-gen Skoda Fabia is expected to continue its run as a young, fresh and modern compact car that appeals to potential buyers as a young, fresh and modern compact car.

Third-generation Skoda Fabia incorporates the brand’s ‘VisionC’ design language

The new Skoda Fabia is based on the ‘Škoda VisionC’ design which combines functionality with an expressive, emotional and more sharply defined design. This new design direction is the next step in the development of the Bohemian brand and the new Fabia is the first variant to communicate this design language.

Although the new Skoda Fabia pretty much maintains the dimensions of the previous generation, the newer one is deemed flatter and wider than before, giving it a fuller stance on the road. It also has sharp edges, clear lines and features crystalline elements. The designers were able to achieve greater contrast and a very distinctive interplay of light and shadows, which gave their creation a unique and self-assured character. Its exterior details entail a pronounced chrome-accented, black louvres grille, precision bold headlights and width-enhancing fog lights which make the front end of the car appear wider, as does the contoured bonnet with the two distinctive beadings on the sides. From the rear, the clear horizontal structure demonstrates strength, and along with the powerful silhouette, together with the rear lights and high, sharp tornado line make the car a little more dynamic, invariably.

A roomier interior and a number of “Simply Clever” user solutions for the new Skoda Fabia

Despite its more dynamic design, the Skoda Fabia gets upgrades in a number of important areas. The boot is bigger and has the largest capacity in its class, the interior is both wider and longer. In addition, the compact is offered with up to ten ‘Simply Clever’ solutions, including MirrorLink technology, available in a Škoda for the first time, to connect a smartphone to the vehicle. Furthermore, this compact car is up to 17 per cent more economical and has innovative assistance systems from larger segment cars.

There are three lines and 15 different body colors available for the upcoming Skoda Fabia, as well as a special color concept which offers customers the chance to individually select the color of the roof, rims and exterior mirrors, as well as a host of interior options to choose from.
