Honda Civic Sales Is On The Roll

The Honda Civic has always been the hottest c-segment vehicle to beat when comes to market share. To-date, the New Civic that was launched back in February has sold more than 2,900 units nationwide and is currently the 3rd best-selling model in Honda Malaysia’s overall sales. The Central region contributed 44% to the total sales followed by 17% from the Southern region and 15% from the Northern region. The White Orchid Pearl colour appears to be the favourite among customers, representing 42% of the overall sales for the New Civic.

The Honda Civic has always been an iconic model for the Honda brand in Malaysia. At present, the New Civic is received positive response from the market with a total of more than 6,500 bookings as of June 2020. The delivery timeline for the New Civic is one month waiting period and stocks are available to meet customers demand.

The New Civic now comes with a new LED Headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights, LED Front Fog Lights, New Front & Rear bumper design, New Black Paint Grille, and New Trunk Spoiler integrated with 18-inch Black Alloy Wheels which further highlights the sporty styling of the New Civic.

The 1.5L VTEC Turbocharged engine that is powering the new Civic offers dynamic performance and excellent fuel economy. The VTEC Turbocharged engine is designed to provide a decent performance with a maximum power output of 173PS and a maximum torque of 220Nm, equivalent to a 2.4L engine performance.

As for the Honda Civic interior, it was designed to maximize cargo space, and it now includes a rear foldable 60:40 seat configuration to increase the practicality aspect of the car. Customers can utilise the foldable rear seats for convenience at different occasions while enjoying unrivalled boot capacity of 519 litres, making the New Civic a sedan with hatchback utility.

To help improve on safety, the highest specification Civic now comes with Honda Sensing, Honda’s Next Generation Advanced Safety Technology as well as Honda LaneWatch, a feature that enhances the side view while reducing blind spot for safer changing of lanes, giving drivers peace of mind on the road.

All variants of the New Civic are equipped with top class safety features such as Six Airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Agile Handle Assist (AHA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Auto Brake Hold (ABH), New Front Sensors and Rear Seat ISOFIX.
