The Jaguar F-Pace is officially the best and most beautiful car in the world after double success at the 2017 World Car Awards, scooping the prestigious World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year titles.
The awards represent the latest in a line of major honors for the F-Pace since its April 2016 introduction or November 2016 locally. The fastest-selling Jaguar ever has collected more than 40 awards, including being named Women’s World Car of the Year, Auto Express ‘Car of the Year’ and ‘Best Premium SUV’ by Telegraph Cars.
Launched domestically in November last year, the Jaguar F-Pace is distributed domestically by Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia in two variants: F-Pace Prestige and F-Pace R Sport.
In looks, the F-Pace’s front-end has an impressionable grille, coupled with a muscular bonnet, slim full-LED headlights and short front overhangs. The F-Pace’s profile fits a Crossover to the core thanks to taut shoulder lines, a low-sloping silhouette and large wheel arches.
From the rear, the F-Pace is distinguished by slender rear lights, presumably LEDs, a shark-fin antenna, elongated tailgate and a darken skid panel with rear reflectors. For those who want to stand out in the crowd, there is the exclusive Black Pack R-Sport option that comes with gloss black radiator grille and surrounds, body color door claddings with gloss black finishers and gloss black side power vents with R-Sport badge.
The InControl Touch infotainment system is fitted standard on the F-Pace Prestige, while the R Sport F-Pace gets InControl Touch Pro system. The InControl Touch infotainment system works in tandem with an eight-inch capacity touchscreen with intuitive user interface and crisp clear graphics. On the other hand, the premium InControl Touch Pro is based around a 10.2-inch touchscreen, with a powerful quad-core processor and solid-state drive, and runs on ultra-fast Ethernet. Additionally, the F-Pace brings about Jaguar’s Activity Key for the first time. These are just some highlights of the interior of the Crossover from Jaguar…
The F-Pace is powered by a 340PS 3.0-liter supercharged V6 petrol engine, paired to an eight-speed electronic automatic transmission with Jaguar Sequential Shift. T
The price of the F-Pace Prestige is RM RM598,800, while the higher-spec R-Sport retails at RM658, 800; all excluding insurance and additional charges.
