Jaguar & Land Rover out to impress visitors at Pebble Beach

At the Pebble Beach Automotive weekend in Monterey, California, Jaguar Land Rover has announced they would debut the new 550HP Range Rover Sport SVR, along with the U.S. production version of the F-Type Project 7 and Lighweight E-type prototypes.

The Pebble Beach weekend gathers the world’s top automotive aficionados, collectors and vintage racers together for a celebration of great performance, heritage and luxury automobiles. Activities lined up for the weekend of 14 – 17 August encompass the Pebble Beach d’Elegance Kick-Off Party by Jaguar Land Rover, the Quail – Motorsports Gathering, and the track showcase at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

F-Type Project 7 leads the limelight for Jaguar at Pebble Beach

The three Jaguars scheduled to debut at the Jaguar Land Rover Thursday night Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Kick-Off party are spearheaded by the F-Type Project 7, featuring a new Glacier White, the high-performance 550HP Range Rover SVR, Jaguar’s prototype of six Lightweight E-type vehicles and other vehicles from both brands, including the Jaguar XFR-S and XKR-S GT, the ultra-luxurious Range Rover Autobiography Black and the Range Rover Evoque Autobiography.

The Jaguar F-Type Project 7 and Range Rover Sport SVR are both from Special Vehicle Operations, while the new Lightweight E-type is the first recreation from Special Operation’s Jaguar Heritage team. Jaguar Land Rover has also extended its product line-up just for the Pebble Beach crowd with the premiere of the new F-Type Coupe and the all-aluminum F-Type Project 7 U.S. production version. The all-aluminum F-Type Project 7, based on the F-Type, is a road-legal two-seater roadster with bespoke carbon-fiber aerodynamic aids. Additionally, it features a Jaguar D-type inspired fairing; this year marks the 60th anniversary of the iconic Jaguar D-type.

Land Rover also breaks out its full product lineup for Pebble Beach, including the global debut of the Range Rover Sport SVR, the first variant to wear the new SVR designation, which will be included for all upcoming high performance variants. Aside from the RR Sport SVR, there’re the Autobiography Black and Evoque Autobiograpy on showcase.
