|The people at JH Italia, distributors of Lamborghini Supercars in the country, has just announced the availability of the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder LP 610-4.|
The Huracán Spyder, which replaces the Gallardo Spyder, is an electrohydraulically operated lightweight soft top variant of the highly successful Huracan Coupe. Compared to the Coupe, the Spyder version is a more tightly-packed open-top supercar with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm, 4,459 mm in length, 1,924 mm in width (2,236mm incl. mirrors) and 1,180 mm in height. Its wide stance is made possible by the 1,668 mm at the front and 1,620 mm at the rear. This lightweight supercar has a gross weight of just 1,542 kg, with a weight to power ratio of 2.53 kg/hp. “The Huracán Spyder combines the performance of the Huracán coupé paired with the added emotional dimension of open air driving,” Sebastien Henry, Head of Operations in South East Asia, Automobili Lamborghini, commented.
As a spyder rendition or open-top, the Huracan Spyder’s top opens up in 17 seconds, even while driving at speeds of up to 50 km/h (31 mph). The Huracán’s aluminum and carbon fiber hybrid structure provides exceptional torsional stiffness for an open top car, an improvement of 40% over the Gallardo Spyder.
Combined with the highly emotive 5.2-liter V10 which generates 610 hp at 8,250 rpm and 560 Nm of torque, the Spyder achieves a top speed of 324 km/h (201 mph), acceleration figures of 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds and 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 10.2 seconds, thus delivering on the promise of Performance and lifestyle under the open sky. For fuel consumption and emissions figures sake, the new Spyder has a combined consumption of 12.3 l/100 km and 285 g/km CO2.
JH Italia has just released an estimated price for the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder at RM 1.35 million, without tax and additional charges.
