Kia Sportage to arrive in second half of the year

2016 Kia Sportage

The new Kia Sportage is expected to be launched in the second half of the year in Malaysia.  Now in its fourth-generation, the new Kia Sportage builds comprehensively on the success of the outgoing version, featuring an attractive ‘face’ and signature Tiger-nose grille with separated headlights.

Profile-wise, the new Sportage has a longer wheelbase (30mm to 2,670 mm) and an increased length (40mm, 4,480 mm). A rear spoiler is incorporated to give the compact SUV a more swept-back shape. From the highest point of the roof, the Sportage’s silhouette gently tapers towards the rear of the car, while bolder wheel arches, sharp features lines, and smooth surfacing endow the Sportage with a more dynamic look. Longer front overhangs (up by 20 mm) and shorter rear overhangs (reduced by 10 mm) add to the car’s more raked profile.

Naza Kia Malaysia predicts that the new Kia Sportage has an estimated price tag of RM 121.000.
