Lexus Malaysia establishes eighth Dealership in Malacca

 Lexus Malaysia establishes newest dealership in Malacca Lexus Malaysia has established its eighth Showroom in the country in the State of Malacca. Part of Lexus Malaysia’s expansion plans, the eighth showroom is a full-fledged sales and service center, complete with the Lexus touch. The Malacca dealership also represents the third showroom established by Lexus Malaysia this year.

As with the seven existing Lexus showrooms, Lexus Malacca presents customers with the latest variants, amenities and Lexus Malacca is a collaboration between Lexus Malaysia and its Dealer Principal Hiewa Auto Gallery. Hiewa Auto Gallery is ran by Wong Ngee Fat, the Managing Director, and his partner Yong Siew Fong. Hiewa Auto Gallery has been a partner of UMW Toyota Motor since 2005, with the first Toyota dealership in Tebrau. The partnership was further affirmed when Hiewa upgraded its Tebrau dealership to 3S status and established another Toyota dealership in Kota Tinggi in 2011. Three years later, it is only fitting for Hiewa to step into the world of Lexus Luxury, with the establishment of Lexus Malacca.

Lexus Malacca dealership spans 87,119 square feet, with a total built up area of 30,000 square feet. The double storey building features mezzanine floor and luxurious amenities like a customer lounge, a business center and a cafe. On the mezzanine floor, walk-ins can view some of the finest Lexus variants on display, including the Lexus LS, GS, ES, RX, RC, and soon the NX; slated for January debut. Lexus Malaysia has already started taking orders for the NX Sports SUV. Thus far, the company has confirmed that approximately 200 units of the NX SUV have been garnered.

In addition, the dealership houses four service bays to service as many Lexus as possible on a daily basis. At any one time, there are 14 associates to assist customers at Lexus Malacca.

UMW Toyota Motor President Dato’ Ismet Suki gave a big welcome to the Malacca dealership as the eighth Lexus showroom in the country, he remarked, “To be opening three state-of-the-art Lexus centers in one year is a significant feat which marks our commitment towards the Lexus brand and to our customers.”

Yong, the Director of Hiewa Auto Gallery, added, “For Lexus, luxury is more than a statement of wealth, status or ownership. It is about Lexus experience, from the moment you step into the showroom to the product line-up and the people where it provides true luxury that helps our customer make the most of every moment.”

Lexus Malaysia is on track to achieve some 1,600 units for the year, despite a less than favorable economy.
