|Mazda has brought forth the updated Mazda6 and CX-5 to exhibit alongside the all-new CX-3 at the ongoing LA Auto Show. To make it a memorable showcase, Mazda is all-out to impress the American public with two of its most popular variants, an entirely new Compact SUV variant, and the amazing Roadster MX-5 in its new KODO form.|
Both updated Mazda6 and CX-5 have been provided a general makeover, especially to the front end. The front-end layout pretty much adopts the fascia of the new CX-3 with seven fins and silver-painted front edges. Even the foglight areas have more pronounced silver hinges to add a little bit of aggression to the front look. Mazda calls it a more refined design expression and enhanced dynamic performance. The side and rear of the Mazda6 and CX-5 remain largely similar to the existing variants.
Adaptive LED Headlights for the updated Mazda6 and CX-5
To ensure a more comfortable and safe ride, the Mazda6 and CX-5 have, for the first time, been incorporated ALH (Adaptive LED Headlights); along with the Mazda Connect car connectivity system and i-ACTIVSENSE safety technologies. Interior updates evident for the Mazda6 and CX-5 include MZD Connect knob on the center console, upholstery and all-round trimmings.
Mazda’s stand at the show also features the racing version of the MX-5, which will participate in the next season’s Global MX-5 Cup.

The Mazda2 sedan and hatchback will be exhibited at the expo; the first time the variant has been displayed to the public in the country. Both the sedan and the hatchback, which are expected to go on sale in first quarter of 2015, feature the SKYACTIV-D 1.5.
The Mazda2 is Mazda’s best-selling passenger variant in Thailand with approximately 120,000 units sold since the variant went on sale in January 2010.
