Mercedes Benz Updated Their Luxury SUV In Malaysia

Mercedes Benz Malaysia recently introduce 3 new full size luxury SUV into their local line-up. The 3 new SUVs are the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC Coupé, Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé and the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC Coupé AMG Line and the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC Coupé, is brought in a to have a full a line-up in Malaysia to satisfy Malaysian buyers. The GLE Coupés are a combination the athletic characteristics of a SUV and the sporty nature of a coupé.

As for the GLS 450, it was meant to offer more of everything: more space, more comfort and more luxury. The GLS 450 exterior feature an upright radiator grille, chrome plated underguard in the front apron, two powerdomes on the bonnet, three-dimensional looking LED taillights.

For powertrain, both the GLE 450 Coupé and GLS 450 are powered by the 3.0-litre 6-cylinder in-line turbo engine that produces 270 kW (367 hp) and a maximum torque of 500 Nm which enables acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds and 6.2 seconds respectively. In the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupé, the 6-cylinder in-line turbo engine generates 320 kW (435 hp) and delivers a maximum torque of 520 Nm, allowing it to reach 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds.

The highlight for the interior for both of the new GLE Coupés are the modern cockpit with two large screens in the format 12.3 inches and the strikingly shaped instrument panel, horizontally divided by a trim element tier, and seamlessly flowing into the door trim. The latest generation of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system further enhance the driving experience.

For the GLS interior, there is the leather wrapped dashboard support that flows into the door panels, and the integral trim element. There are also the electrically adjustable seats with the EASY-ENTRY system on the third row which enables the seats in the second row to move and fold forward, giving a larger legroom to those sitting in the third row.

To enhance the luxurious experience in the GLS, the MBUX Rear Seat Entertainment System is available for this 7-seater luxury SUV. Each screen displays the content selected by the individual user, allowing each passengers to enjoy movies, music or use the integrated web browser on the two wireless headsets that come with the vehicle.

For pricing, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC Coupé will be priced at RM 661,009.42 , the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupé will be priced at RM 787,357.88 and the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC will be priced at RM 899,888.
