With over 256,000 units sold around the South East Asia, the Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia is preparing for the arrival of the new 7-seater Mitsubishi Xpander. The Mitsubishi Xpander was 1st revealed in Indonesia, later on to other South East Asian countries, and now, finally in Malaysia.
Completing the Mitsubishi Outlander SUV, the new XPander, dubbed the 7-seater Crossover, features Isuzu’s signature design like the ‘Dynamic Shield’ front, a standard for current Mitsubishis. As an SUV, the XPander does what it does in terms of practicality and functionality. Ruggedness and lots of room are the other traits of this new Mitsubishi SUV.
In looks, the new Mitsubishi XPander is dominated by the slim LED headlights, the signature Dynamic Shield mesh grille and a sharply-contoured fascia. The front lip below the lower bumper add a whole dynamic look for the SUV, along with the integrated DRLs (daytime running lights).
At the profile, the new SUV has a chiselled shoulder line and five-spoke wheels, which is probably 16-inch in diameter, to express its adventurous nature. From the rear, the bumper is slightly slanted and features an XPander emblem. A chrome ornament is utilized below the windshield to match the duck-tailed spoiler and shark-fin antenna. At the same time, the trapezoidal rear light is wrapped to the side of the vehicle to express a unique modern SUV.
As Auto brands recover from the MCO (movement order control), every brand is looking to close out the remainder of the year in good shape. Mitsubishi, for example, is expecting a thrilling second half of the year ahead with the introduction of the new XPander.
