New Limited Edition Isuzu D-Max – The Isuzu D-Max Stealth

On the 6th of August 2020, Isuzu Malaysia unveiled a new limited-edition Isuzu D-Max named Stealth. This limited-edition Stealth model comes with exclusive designs and strong features that make the Isuzu D-Max Stealth stand out.

The Isuzu Stealth is based on the highly dependable and capable Isuzu D-Max 4×4 Premium Automatic model that features the equally impressive 1.9L Ddi Blue Power engine. So what makes the Isuzu D-Max Stealth so special?

For starters, there’s only 180 units available of the D-Max Stealth model. Among the 180 units available, there are only 2 colours option to choose from namely, Stallion Black Metallic and Silky White Pearl. The design of the D-Max Stealth comes from a premium urban pick-up truck theme.

On the outside, most of the chrome parts around the front and rear fascia have now being blacked out to give the D-Max Stealth a more sporty looking pick-up truck. The parts include the front grille, headlamp garnish, fog lights garnish, front bumper garnish, roof rails, and rear bumper garnish.

Apart from that, there is a fine silver highlights that runs across the entire front of the D-Max Stealth. Another nice touch for the D-Max Stealth is the exclusive two-tone 18-inch alloy rims with an embossed Stealth emblem. Isuzu also added additional D-Max Stealth specific decals around the truck.

To add on to the exclusivity of the D-Max Stealth, Isuzu also added a tailgate assist and retractable side-step. The tailgate assist is not a new feature, but it was an option for the regular D-Max, which will make the opening and closing of the tailgate easy. The retractable side-step is stowed under the truck body that will extend when the doors are open, it will make the egress and ingress of the truck less of a chore. On top of that, there are the automatic welcome light below the vehicle to illuminate the side steps to allow customers to see it in the dark.

Moving inside, the D-Max Stealth gets a red and black combination seats. The seats are made out of mix of premium leather and fabric, and there is a Stealth logo stitch on the seat backs to remind you that you’re driving a special edition D-Max if the red seats didn’t do that. The headliners have now being replace with a dark grey headlining, while the trim garnish around the cabin is now finished in piano black.

Isuzu have also given its customers some additional tools to keep them safe when driving the D-Max. The D-Max Stealth now comes with front and rear facing Digital Video Recorder (DVR), 360 Around View Monitor with 3D Image Guide and front parking sensors.

The Isuzu D-Max Stealth will be priced at RM 125,799.20 (Without Insurance) and will come with a special 7-years unlimited mileage warranty. For customers who registered their vehicles in the month of August, they will be entitled to a free sports roll bar or opt to purchase a T-Lid Cover (worth RM5,500) for only RM2,000 while stocks last.
