New Peugeot 3008 And 5008 Is Now Revealed

Recently, Peugeot updated the well-received Peugeot 3008 and 5008 to make both well SUV even more striking. For the exterior, both of the 3008 and 5008 SUV received a new frameless grille features at the front, while gloss black side scoops and a painted treadplate are integrated with the new bumper design as standard. To differentiate the highest GT and GT Premium trims gets bespoke front grille.

The new LED headlights on both the SUVs now feature full LED headlights with an extended light signature and comes with ‘Fog Mode’. The ‘Fog Mode’ is meant to replace fog lights by integrating the fog lights into the full LED headlights and switches on the low beam headlights with reduced intensity when the rear fog lights are activated.

For the 5008, the new upgraded taillights feature full LED technology with PEUGEOT’s iconic three-claw rear light signature and sequential indicator lights.

Moving on to the interior, a new generation of the Peugeot’s digital i-Cockpit® technology with a 12.3-inch digital head-up instrument panel can be seen inside both of the SUVs. There are other new features for the updated SUV such as, a compact steering wheel for improved driving dynamics and, a 10-inch capacitive colour touchscreen.

The new 3008 and 5008 will be more high tech than ever in terms of driving aids and safety features to protect both its occupants and other road users. For the 3008, now you get Night Vision, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Lane Positioning Assist, and the Latest- Generation Automatic Emergency Braking.

As for the 5008, you do get the above mentioned technology. Peugeot added additional Driver Assist Plus Package which include Adaptive Cruise Control, Visiopark 1 with 180° rear view camera, Visiopark 2 with 360° front and rear cameras, Park Assist, Active warning of unintentional lane departure with trajectory correction, Driver Warning Alert, Smart Beam Assist, Speed Sign Recognition and Recommendation, Active Blind Spot Monitoring, Advanced Grip Control, Hill Assist Descent Control (HADC), Hands-free tailgate, and Multi-point massage seats.

Lastly, both the 3008 and 5008 will be powered by a whole host of Petrol and Diesel engine ranging from 1.2L to 2.0L. For gearbox, there would be a choice of 6-speed or 8-speed automatic transmission to send the power from the engine to the ground.
