Nissan X-Trail Facelift up for bookings before official introduction

Nissan Malaysia (Edaran Tan Chong Motor) has announced bookings availability for the X-Trail Facelift. There are three versions of the X-Trail Facelift (FL); the 2.0l standard/mid, X-Trail 2.5l AWD and X-Trail 2.0l Hybrid, priced from RM 139,900 until RM 169,900. The X-Trail line-up is now available at Nissan dealerships everywhere. The official unveiling, however, will take place in April.

The Facelifted X-Trail boasts a new variant, the Hybrid version that pairs a combustion engine with 2,0l CVTC and XTRONIC CVT transmission. The combination allows 144PS and 200Nm of torque, and that ‘s not all, an Electric Motor gives an additional 41 PS and 160 Nm to make driving a little more fun. Eventhough its uprated, the fuel consumption is kept intact with a consumption at just 16.1km/l(based  on  ECE R101 test mode).

The X-Trail is considered an EEV in the country, hence it comes complete with Nissan  Intelligent  Mobility advanced safety technologies such as; Intelligent Forward Collision Warning, Forward Emergency Braking(FEB), Cruise Control, High Beam Assist(HBA), Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Around View Monitor (I-AVM) with Moving Object Detection (I-MOD), Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Motion Activated  Power Tailgate (to ease trunk loading and unloading, only valid for the 2,5l and Hybrid variants).

In looks, the FL X-Trail offers a fresh exterior with a V-Motion front grille, Boomerang headlights with LED DRLs and smoked LED  Boomerang rearlights. All the new features give the SUV a more masculine look and presents a dynamic appearance.

Interior features are up-to-date as well with the new 7-inch infotainment system with all the current connectivity requirements, a flat-bottomed steering with switches, dual leather seats, a dashboard with leather touch and knee pads. On the speedometer, a 5-inch Drive  Assist  display toggles important car data and gives a high-tech impression.

Nissan doesn’t compromise on safety as the X-Trail comes pre-loaded with the necessary safety features. The package includes Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold function, Vehicle Dynamic Control  (VDC),  Traction  Control  System  (TCS),  Anti-lock  Braking  System  (ABS),  Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Hill Start Assist (HSA), and two ISOFIX points.
