|Renault’s renewal of its range continues with the introduction of updated Mégane Coupé Cabriolet. The latest version of the Renault compact sport features the brand’s new styling identity and can now be specified with the Renault R-Link connected multimedia system. The 2013 Mégane Coupé Cabriolet’s front end styling embodies Renault’s acclaimed new design philosophy. After Mégane Hatchback, Mégane Coupé and Mégane Estate, it is now the turn of Mégane Coupé Cabriolet to feature Renault’s new family traits. Its dynamic, elegant stance has been further enhanced by a new bumper which incorporates a bigger Renault logo set to a gloss black background.
2013 Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet ensures liberated drive with top down
With the top down, the 2013 Mégane Coupé Cabriolet ensures a unique al fresco motoring experience. Boasting the Coupe segment’s biggest panoramic glass roof, the Megane Coupe Cabrio certainly provides a certain driving liberation of sorts. Once the top goes down, the vehicle ensures an inimitable open-air experience without the drawbacks. Its standard fixed glass wind deflector, which is unique in the segment, minimises turbulence to provide maximum comfort for four passengers when travelling at speeds of up to 90kph. Additionally, the latest Mégane Coupé Cabrio can also be ordered with an optional removable mesh deflector screen that allows two occupants traveling alone to benefit from extra protection against buffeting at all speeds.
The latest Megane open-top is now available with Renault R-Link, a connected in-dash multimedia system, either as an option or as standard equipment in the case of certain versions. This fully-connected system comes with a smart, chrome-trimmed seven-inch (18cm) display which functions in association with a center console-mounted joystick.
