Getting a service appointment can be quite a hassle for some especially those who struggle to find time during the office hours to contact their nearest service centre to schedule their service appointment. With this, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC) is taking an extra step to help eliminate the problem people face when making an appointment while delivering a seamless customer service experience.
SDAC manage to achieve the experience by digitising the vehicle service appointment through Ford website. In the website, customers are allowed to manage and confirm their service booking appointments in real time. Currently, this service only available at 7 different authorised Ford Service Centres in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak – namely Ford Ara Damansara, Ford Petaling Jaya 2, Ford Juru, Ford Butterworth, Ford Kuching, Ford Kota Kinabalu and Ford Tawau.
In order to book a service appointment, customers just need to visit www.sdacford.com.my and click on the ‘Book a Service’ tab, where they would then need to select their vehicle model, choose the state in which they are located in, and select their preferred service centre from a drop-down list. The available date and time slots will then be shown, and customers can schedule a service appointment up to one (1) month in advance.
Customers will then be asked to fill in their name, contact details and vehicle registration number. Once completed, a confirmation email of the appointment will be sent.
In addition to booking a service appointment online, customers can also schedule their service appointments by calling an authorised Ford Service Centre directly.
