Ssangyong Tivoli SUV & Turismo MPV join motability scheme

Ssangyong Tivoli Ssangyong has introduced a Motability Scheme for disabled motorists. The Ssangyong Tivoli Diesel/Petrol and Turismo MPV are especially made available for the special Motability scheme.

The 1.6-liter Ssangyong Tivoli is a new and contemporary B-segment SUV that offers a comprehensive specification and sector-leading prices. There are three trim levels (SE, EX, ELX) for the Tivoli SUV, with a choice of either a 1.6 liter Euro 6 petrol or diesel engine, paired to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission.

There’s space for five adults to travel in comfort, a boot capacity of 423 – 1,115 cubic liters, a adequate level of safety with seven airbags across the range, and a wide choice of colors and stylish interior trims. The Tivoli SE is finished in a smart grey cloth trim, and includes 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, a stop/go system, Smart steering (normal, comfort and sport modes), an RDS/Bluetooth radio and seven airbags.

The EX version adds the option of automatic transmission, grey or beige leather upholstery, 18-inch alloy Spiral wheels, dual zone climate control, 7-inch touch screen smart audio system with rear view camera, heated front seats, front fog lights and a luggage load cover. Meantime, the ELX version features Diamond cut alloy wheels, a smart instrument cluster, smart keyless starting, front & rear parking sensors, privacy glass, rear spoiler, automatic headlights, rain sensing wipers, full TomTom navigation system with 7-inch touch screen and rear view camera.

2.2 literSsangyong Turismo MPV

The seven-seater Ssangyong Turismo MPV is powered by an upgraded 2.2 liter Euro 6 engine, paired to either 6-speed manual or new Mercedes-Benz 7-speed automatic transmission, that delivers more power, better fuel economy and reduced emission. At over 5,000 mm long and with a 3000 mm wheelbase, the Turismo is larger than a standard sized MPV people carrier.

Designed to appeal as family, leisure and business transportation, the new Turismo MPV blends multi-role flexibility with decent ride comfort and equipment of a premium sedan. Thanks to its 3000 mm wheelbase, the MPV provides a huge interior space where seven adults can travel in supreme comfort with their luggage loaded in the back, without having to compromise on passenger accommodation. There are three rows of seats as well as a large load space which can be further increased by removing the third row completely. This gives a massive load carrying capability of between 875 liters with seven adults seated, through to two adults and 3,146 liters of load space. While rear wheel drive features on the SE and EX, the top of the range ELX includes selectable 4×4 with low ratio as standard. As with other Turismo versions, the ELX has an impressive 2-ton towing capability.
