|For the upcoming 65th Frankfurt Motor Show from 14 – 22 September, FHI (Fuji Heavy Industries) makers of Subaru cars will showcase the Subaru VIZIV Concept and the next-generation WRX Concept.|
The Subaru VIZIV Concept is the next wave of the Crossover that’s based on an entirely new platform. The future Subaru Crossover, regarded to hint the future design language of the segment, is instilled with plenty of new technologies to suffice current generation’s requirements and Crossover’s equipment range.
Alongside the VIZIV Concept, the Subaru WRX Concept will definitely attract plenty of observers and visitors during the Frankfurt Motor show. The Subaru WRX Concept, previously presented at the New York Motor show, provides a hint of the soon-to-be-unleashed Subaru WRX variant.
The WRX Concept blends the WRX’s famous power and road-holding prowess with an even greater focus on sharp handling, steering and communicative chassis. To further improve handling dynamics, the WRX Concept features a carbon-fiber roof to enhance the car’s low center of gravity as well as to lower the performance car’s overall weight.
The new 3-D mesh front grille is larger and bolder and sets off the classic WRX hood scoop. A pronounced powerbulge provides clearance for the new turbocharged engine and intercooler. A prominent hexagonal grille form and deep lower valences with air intakes are designed to enhance aerodynamics, add downforce and aid engine cooling.
A sharp character line runs from the front corner through to the rearlights, intersected by the boldly flared wheel arches emphasizing the Subaru’s AWD system. The compact cabin represents the essence of power and solidity of the WRX Concept, yet much attention is derived from the wide stance – a visual link between body and chassis. The rear’s power motifs include; a dramatically curved trunk lid that also acts as a rear spoiler, a wide rear bumper, large 4-tailpipe arrangement and a diffuser.
BBS “RI-D” One Piece Forged Duralumin wheels and 245/40ZR20 tyres complete the WRX Concept’s package. The WRX Concept takes on the recognizable WR Blue Pearl III body color, with a tinge of flourescent yellow on the front grille emblem. brake calipers and exhaust tips.
