The Rolls-Royce Ghost has been the most successful product in the 116-years of Rolls-Royce history. In order to continue with the success, Rolls-Royce is making the new Ghost even more advanced than ever.
The new Ghost will be built around a new rigid aluminium spaceframe, and feature a 6.75L twin-turbo V12 pushing out 571PS and 850Nm of torque. To keep the car safe on the road, Rolls-Royce incorporates all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, and the Satellite Aided Transmission.
For Rolls-Royce, the comfort level of the occupants is the highest priority. To achieve the best comfort level, the redesigned Planar suspension system uses cameras to read the surface ahead to create a ‘magic carpet’ effect. On top of that, all the interior components are tuned to specific resonant to create a sense of serenity.
To get inside the car, the opening and closing of the doors are operated electrically. On the inside, the highlight for the interior is the Illuminated Fascia: a world-first innovation that subtly echoes the Starlight Headliner. Located on the passenger side of the dashboard, the Illuminated Fascia is a glowing Ghost nameplate that is surrounded by more than 850 stars to turn the interior into an interior suite.
