The Royal Malaysia Police Receive 425 Units Of New Honda Civic.

On the 5th of June 2020, the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP) receive 425 units of the new Honda Civie 1.8S from Honda Malaysia to be used as new mobile patrol and enforcement vehicles. The Honda Civic is a hugely popular car among Malaysians.

As a locally assembled vehicle, the facelifted Civic which was launched in February 2020, offers D-segment features in a C-segment model – equipped with Next Generation Advanced Technology features. The New Civic’s outstanding exterior displays a refined design with sportier fastback styling that exudes a premium and sporty feel. Its New Front Bumper gives a bold appearance while the newly designed 16-inch* Alloy Wheels completes the low and wide stance, giving the model a sleek presence. New features of convenience and safety included in the New Civic are Auto Front Wiper and Front Sensor.

Powered by a 1.8L i-VTEC engine mated with Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), the New Civic 1.8S offers maximum power output of 141PS and maximum torque of 174NM performance. The model’s Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) certified engine delivers a balance of dynamic performance and excellent fuel economy, ideal for the RMP officers to use daily as a patrol and enforcement vehicle. The New Civic is also available in 1.5L VTEC Turbocharged engine equipped with Next Generation Safety Technology – the proprietary Honda SENSING**.

Awarded with five-star safety rating by ASEAN NCAP, the New Civic is equipped with top class safety features such as Six Airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Agile Handle Assist (AHA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA) and Auto Brake Hold (ABH).
