Vespa LXV150 3V succeeds existing LX 150 Apple Edition

 allcarschannel The beloved lil’ Italian Scooter Vespa LXV 150 3V fuel injection has landed in the country. Today, Vespa distributors Naza Premira announced the availability of the LXV 150 3V fuel injection at a somewhat high-side price of RM11,658. Naza Premira also distributes Piaggio bikes which are equally sought-after vintage two-wheelers. At a price just above RM11,000. the LX150 Apple Edition had an ad central theme of “Chi Vespa mangia le mele” , or “If you ride a Vespa, you take a bite out of the apple” in the late 60s. The Apple version of the Vespa matches some of the most beloved classic Vespas through the decades. Additionally, the Vespa Apple edition paid due homage to the Vespas of the world, with it  familiar two-tone colored saddle and related illustrations.

The Vespa LXV 150 3V maintains the structure of the LX range and carries the classic “Italian Scooter” charm of the 60s. Noticeable elements include chromium finish on the tubular handlebar, fly screen, round headlight and the double module two-seat saddle made of genuine leather. The element of reinvention lies at the core of this Scoot, where Vespa has incorporated its new, highly advanced 150cc 4Stroke 3-Valve powertrain that’s incorporated with Paggio technology.

The air-cooled 3V engine with electronic fuel injection, is lighter than its predecessor and was designed in the Pontedera plant, where a great deal of research went into its development in order to provide decreased friction and improved dynamics. The result is a more efficient engine with a 30 percent reduction in fuel consumption, as well as lower emissions.

This lil’ Scoot is a perfect companion for zipping between cars during heavy traffic or riding out-of-town on a casual trip. The Vespa LXV 150 3V is available in 3 colors: Midnight Blue, Rossa Chianti (Maroon) and Beige.

A point to note, the Vespa brand has been around for 68 years and always represented everything Italian, ‘Scoot-ing’ trails and such. The Scoot is often regarded as an ideal city transporter or a fun and casual go-getter. The brand is distributed in several countries across the globe.
