Volkswagen Malaysia initiates Experts Program to boost After Sales

Volkswagen Malaysia introduces Experts program to boost after sales As part of its After Sales initiatives, Volkswagen Group Malaysia today introduced the Volkswagen Experts program in the country. The program would involve ten designated certified master technicians or Volkswagen Experts from Deutschland (Germany) undertaking close ties with local dealerships to better customer satisfaction.

The Volkswagen Experts are posted at selected service centers to understand and guide local technicians in addressing and rectifying vehicular issues faced by VW owners. They are to be present at the dealerships on a two-week rotation to ensure full coverage. Through this initiative, Volkswagen Malaysia is committed to improve dealer’s service capability for long-term growth and competitiveness.

Armin Keller, Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Malaysia, commented, “Volkswagen Malaysia continues to invest on training and development of the technicians at all authorized dealerships to enhance the after sales service experience.”

“These well-trained and experienced technicians will play a vital role in providing highest standard of service to customers and support the dealerships by educating their service technicians and encouraging them to gain knowledge and purse new skills,” he added.

Responding to the need for highly-trained aftersales service staff, the Volkswagen Experts are also responsible to help in coaching and developing quality aftersales service skills, with the objective of providing the domestic VW servicemen the necessary skills and knowledge to handle VW cars, as well as engaging the growing demands for impeccable services in the region.

Volkswagen Malaysia currently works alongside DRB-Hicom to produce locally assembled variants such as the popular Polo 1.6, Polo Sedan and the Passat. All Volkswagen vehicles now include a 5-year, plus 5-year mobility guarantee as part of its on-going after sales initiatives to provide owners total Peace of Mind.

There are 43 Volkswagen dealerships across the country, with the State of Selangor and the Federal Territory accounting for 23 dealerships.  Volkswagen Malaysia has affirmed that more dealerships are set to be in motion in the next year or so.
